TapTrans Chrome Extension Local Install Guide

1. Download the TapTrans CRX package and unzip

(The download is a zip file. After extracting to a local folder you will see the extension files.)

2. Open Chrome Extensions and enable Developer mode

Copy the address below, paste it in the address bar, press Enter, then turn on Developer mode in the top right.

3. Install TapTrans

(Note: drag the .crx file onto the page—do not click “Load unpacked”.)

4. Pin TapTrans to the toolbar

Having trouble?

1. On Windows, did you fully extract the download (not just open the zip)?
2. Is Developer mode enabled? If not, see step 2.
3. Did you drag the .crx onto the Extensions page? Do not click “Load unpacked”—you must drag the .crx file.
4. Browser blocks .crx? Try the unpacked folder instead! View zip / unpacked install guide.

Alternative: Load unpacked

If Chrome rejects the .crx, click “Load unpacked”, select the extracted taptrans-extension folder, and finish installation.
